Project Overview

Habitat for Humanity Canada is a nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions and addressing homelessness by mobilizing volunteers and community partners to build safe, decent homes for families in need. Over a three-year partnership, Yeeboo Digital drove significant donor engagement, revenue growth, and online presence for the organization.

  1. Challenge

In 2019, Habitat for Humanity Canada set several strategic goals, including file growth, mature digital segmentation, improved donor experiences, and integrated experiences between online and offline channels.

Alongside these goals, the organization aimed to increase its overall digital revenue and strengthen its broader fundraising efforts.

  2. Solution

Habitat for Humanity Canada partnered with Yeeboo Digital, a digital marketing and fundraising agency specializing in nonprofits, working closely together over a three-year period to develop and implement a range of strategies and initiatives.

Together they focused on expanding the organization’s digital reach and optimizing donor experiences, developing targeted marketing campaigns that leveraged Yeeboo Digital’s expertise in digital advertising and marketing automation to increase visibility and engagement.

  3. Results

The partnership delivered 7.24% digital revenue growth and a 32.1% increase in average gift, from $139.36 to $183.35, while the direct gifts channel grew from 10.1% to 29.9% and paid media revenue climbed from 2.8% to 14% of the total. The year-end holiday campaign saw roughly a 118% increase in donations.

Email open rates rose about 11% and conversion rates grew roughly 57%, website visitors increased from 314,099 in 2020 to 390,375 in 2021, and paid media revenue jumped from $37,989.50 to $110,269.18 at a 1,049.08% ROAS.
