CAMH Foundation is a Canadian non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting mental health research and patient care at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. With mental health awareness and advocacy gaining increasing attention in recent years, the CAMH Foundation recognized the need to expand their online presence and offer more diverse ways for donors to support their cause. In this case study, we will explore the partnership between the CAMH Foundation and Yeeboo Digital, and how they worked together to develop a new Giving Hub to enhance their online fundraising efforts.
The CAMH Foundation was looking to expand their online giving options, streamline the donation process, and provide a more personalized experience for their donors.
Working closely with the CAMH team, Yeeboo Digital developed a comprehensive strategy to rebuild and redesign their symbolic giving eCommerce site using Blackbaud’s Luminate Online product.The goal was to create an intuitive, user-friendly experience that would encourage donors to explore the different giving options available to them. Here’s how Yeeboo Digital achieved this:
The first step was to update and refresh the visual design of the Luminate product using a custom wireframe template. The design team at Yeeboo Digital created a modern, clean look that reflected the CAMH Foundation’s brand and mission.
Next, Yeeboo Digital added new eCards that were optionally sent to donors when they made symbolic gifts. This helped make the giving experience more personal and engaging for donors. Additionally, a new lightbox and alertbox were developed to highlight important messaging to donors, such as critical research needs or patient support programs.
The navigation was restructured to reflect the key areas of impact that donors could support. The CAMH Foundation worked closely with the Yeeboo Digital team to identify the most impactful mental health research projects and patient support programs that donors could contribute to. The previous collection of categories were streamlined into organized groups such as areas of impact, price, and occasion.
The CAMH Foundation’s new Giving Hub website has been a huge success. Donors have responded positively to the expanded giving options, and the new eCards have helped make the giving experience more engaging. The updated design and navigation have made it easier for donors to explore the different giving options available to them.
By utilizing Luminate Online, Yeeboo Digital was able to build a powerful eCommerce site that allows CAMH Foundation’s donors to easily and securely contribute to mental health research and support.
