Boosting Donations and Engagement with Engaging Networks

By partnering with Yeeboo Digital and implementing Engaging Networks, Oceans North has greatly improved their fundraising and online engagement capabilities.

Oceans North is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the ocean and its wildlife. Based in Canada, they work to ensure sustainable and healthy oceans by conducting scientific research, advocating for sound public policy, and engaging with communities and decision-makers.

Yeeboo Digital, an Engaging Networks partner, provided Oceans North with a comprehensive solution to address their challenges. Here are some of the key areas of work that were provided:

• Initiation, Kick-off and Discovery Sessions: This involved project kickoff, project charter and plan creation, account access, and information collection.
• New Engaging Networks Account Setup: This included configuration of all account settings based on worksheet, setup and configuration of subdomains, users and permissions, donation receipting configuration, basic email signup form creation, setup of payment gateway, data structure worksheet review, and setup and configuration of email settings.
• Custom Engaging Networks Training: This provided three training sessions to cover custom topics specific to Oceans North’s new EN account, including basic account setup, email tool setup/sending, email welcome series/automation, autoresponder emails, receipt templates, page template(s), donation forms editing/updating, donation management, and reports management/running.
• Implementation of Yeeboo Digital “Pro” Action Pages Page Template: This involved the implementation of a page template for use with Oceans North’s general donation forms and had the ability to separate their types of giving on a per-form basis or include all options on a single form.
• Creation and Setup of the EN Hub: This involved the setup and configuration of base HUB modules, creation of HUB email login workflow, customization of HUB styles and icons to match Oceans North brand, customization of HUB content, and two rounds of beta testing and updates prior to approval and training.
• Custom Google Analytics Setup: This included reviewing Oceans North’s current setup and customization of their analytics account, leveraging the implementation of a custom Google Analytics setup, ensuring that all EN donation pages were tracked, leveraging event tracking and eCommerce tracking respectively for conversions and specific events.

With EN, Oceans North now has the infrastructure to boost enrollment in programs, drive more single and monthly donors, and provide a rich, easy-to-navigate website experience that is also easy and intuitive to manage.   EN has also allowed Oceans North to create custom forms, email campaigns, and advocacy actions that engage their supporters and drive action. With the custom Google Analytics setup, they can now track and analyze their online engagement and fundraising efforts, gaining insights that help them make data-driven decisions.
